Build a Funnel Query
Configure Event Sources and create the User Defined Events for your milestones.
Before You Begin
Events can come from different tables or views. Their configured EventOwner columns must contain identifiers for the same entity.
Example: Checkout activity and payment records both identify the same order, even if one table calls its owner column ORDER_ID and the other calls it ORDER_REFERENCE.
Build the Query
- Expand Journey Builder and select Funnel.
- Enter a descriptive query name.
- Add User Defined Events from the library using their add buttons or by dragging them onto the canvas.
- Arrange milestones from left to right in the required order.
- Review the step numbers before submitting.
Example name:Checkout progression
Milestones:Product Viewed → Added to Cart → Checkout Started → Payment Completed
You do not draw graph connections or add Start or End controls. The builder creates the ordered path.
Note:The bars in the builder illustrate the configured steps. Their heights are not measured conversion results.
