Submit the Query

Sampling selects EventOwners consistently, keeping their records available across the selected sources. A lower sampling percentage analyzes a subset of owners.

1. Enter a query name if you have not already done so.
2. Click Submit Query.
3. Review Selected Time Range. This controls which source records zinzu reads.
4. Choose the sampling percent. Use 100% when validating an example against all eligible EventOwners.
5. Review Sequence Limit, which defaults to 50 records.
6. Optionally add a description, then click Confirm & Run Query.
7. Open the submitted query in My Queries to check its execution status and inspect results.

The query time range and Duration Length serve different purposes:

• Time range: Selects the source records to read.
• Duration Length: Qualifies the span of a matched set within those records.
