Sequence Order Behavior: Sample Queries
Simple Query: Events in a Defined Order
Drag Start, the three User Defined Events, and End from the event library onto the canvas. Connect them in this order:
Start → Product Viewed → Added to Cart → Payment Completed → End
This query finds three consecutive records matching these events for the same EventOwner. All three must occur in the defined order, with no intervening records in the timeline being analyzed.
Example: A customer views a product, adds it to their cart, and completes payment. This matches the query. If another action occurs between these steps, or payment is missing, that occurrence does not complete the pattern.
Start and End mark the query’s boundaries; they do not represent source records.
