Data access stays under your control

You choose which tables or views to make available to zinzu and grant the permissions needed to use them. Configure Event Sources to identify the records you want to analyze.

Processing stays in your account

The installed application runs within your Snowflake account. Source records, query processing, intermediate objects, and stored results remain there. Your business data is not sent to a Zinzu-hosted processing service.

Your source records remain unchanged

Query analysis reads the selected sources. It does not update or delete your original source records.

Results can contain sensitive information

Results and sample sequences can include source-record values. Apply appropriate access permissions to the application and its outputs, just as you would for the underlying data.

Ask AI uses Snowflake Cortex

Ask AI prepares summarized evidence from selected matching sequences and submits it with your prompt to Snowflake Cortex. It does not call a separate Zinzu-hosted AI service.

Use of Cortex is subject to your organization's Snowflake AI policies and account settings, including any permitted cross-region processing. Summarized evidence can still contain sensitive attribute values; select appropriate data and prompts.

Retain results only as long as needed

Query results have a default retention period of 24 hours. You can adjust the remaining retention period before expiry. Cleanup removes expired results and associated query details; it does not delete your source records.
